brick & chandelier

it was a recent visit to the lovely glendon bar & kitchen in westwood which made me adore the dynamic duo of exposed brick walls and charming chandeliers. the rugged yet classic look of red (or white) brick complimented by the glamorous touch of a luminous chandelier fixture contrasts one another in a unique yet fitting way. {in addition to the brick/chandelier decor, the lively ambiance of glendon bar & kitchen also offers appetizing bites including specialty pizzas (try the glendon) and mouth watering starters (try the sweet potato french fries), not to mention a drink menu that categorizes its selections by first, second or third date}

  1. Oooo. I was so happy to find you. I moved back to los angeles about six months ago and I'm still finding my new local favorites now that I'm back home in CA. Love to see your suggestions! what a lovely blog!

  2. I love old chandeliers, especially when they are mixed with the textures of old bricks - glamour. I just purchased a box of vintage chandelier parts to use in my jewelry making - this is making me think I should photograph the finished pieces next to old bricks - thanks for the inspiration! Also, love the drink suggestion idea - genius.
